If you can no longer manage your household due to hospital treatment or an (outpatient) operation, the health insurance company can provide household help. We help you clarify the need and compile the right information so that you don't have to go through forms alone.
Household help during pregnancy and after birth (health insurance)
Household help during pregnancy(§ 24h SGB V)
If you are unable to continue running your household due to pregnancy or childbirth, the health insurance company can provide household help. We support you in discussing the scope and clarifying the next steps – respectfully and without unnecessary hurdles.

In a first short consultation, we discuss your open questions and address your wishes and needs. As a queer-sensitive everyday helper 🏳️🌈, we also try to consider and take into account sexual and gender diversity in the organization of your help.

Support starts
We will have a non-binding, free introductory meeting. If you feel comfortable, we can start with the everyday help right away.

What services does AlleFarben Alltagshilfe offer in Berlin?
AlleFarben Alltagshilfe supports you in your daily life in Berlin – in a way that suits your life. This includes household help (e.g. tidying up, laundry, cleaning), accompaniment and errands (e.g. doctor's appointments, shopping, errands), care & companionship (e.g. conversations, walks, games) as well as leisure and cultural accompaniment. If you also need relief with paperwork, we also support you with mail, invoices and forms.
What does "queer-sensitive everyday help" mean at AlleFarben?
Queersensible everyday help means: You are respected just as you are. We pay attention to address, privacy, and boundaries and work in a discrimination-sensitive way so that you can feel safe in your home. Many people have had bad experiences in support systems – at AlleFarben, support should relieve and not cost extra effort. You don't have to explain yourself, but can rely on clear agreements and respectful interaction.
Can the support be financed through long-term care insurance?
Yes, that is possible. AlleFarben Alltagshilfe is approved according to § 45a SGB XI – this means that support can be financed by long-term care insurance benefits, depending on the requirements. Which financing option suits your case depends on your situation. We will explain the next steps to you clearly and tell you what information is useful so that you don't have to deal with the topic alone.
Which cash benefits do you support in special situations?
In certain situations, benefits from health or long-term care insurance may be applicable – for example, household help after a hospital stay (§ 38 SGB V), household help around pregnancy/childbirth (§ 24 SGB V), or substitute care/respite care if a caregiver is temporarily unavailable. We also offer queer-sensitive care counseling according to § 7a SGB XI as well as the counseling visit for care allowance according to § 37.3 SGB XI (mandatory for care levels 2–5, possible for care level 1). We help you understand what suits you and how to practically organize the support.
