How do I apply to AlleFarben Alltagshilfe in Berlin – and how quickly will I get a response?
You submit a short application. According to the page, this takes a maximum of 3 minutes and you don't need a CV or a long cover letter. We usually get back to you within 2 days.
What are my duties as a daily helper?
As a daily helper, you support customers in their everyday lives - at home and away from home. This includes accompaniment, joint leisure activities and conversations, shopping, and preparing simple meals. You also help with household chores and cleaning. Important: No nursing activities are planned.
What are the working hours - are there shifts and how long do deployments last?
There are no shifts. Weekend assignments are possible, but by arrangement. The page also states: An assignment lasts approximately 2 hours on average.
What is the payment like and what benefits are there?
You earn €16 per hour, and you can keep all tips. In addition, there is, among other things, a mobility allowance (e.g., BVG/Swapfiets), team events, queer training, and a safe, discrimination-free working environment. Your work is also covered by business liability insurance.
